I had a mixed experience at the Marriott. The rooms were luxurious with great amenities like a large queen size bed, ample luggage space, and a well-appointed bathroom, all covered in elegant marble. However, the service was lacking, especially in terms of overpriced offerings like room service and car hire. The location was a bit out of the way from the main attractions, requiring taxi rides and negotiations. The dining experience was satisfactory but nothing outstanding.
The hotel offers extremely clean rooms with a nice balcony, but lacks information packs and coffee or tea making facilities. The staff's unhelpfulness made the long wait of over 45 minutes frustrating. However, the overall cleanliness of the rooms is commendable.
Upon our arrival, the hotel was a bit challenging to locate, nestled inside a hairdresser shop, but once inside, the bar/restaurant area immediately caught my eye. However, the room we had was at the end of the building and had issues with the lock, which was a bit concerning.
